Well, it’s been about 4 months now since my last blog entry and I have legitimate reasoning behind it! First of all, I moved from Connecticut to Charleston, SC in August, which was stressful as ever. When I arrived to the bustling Lowcountry, I started working for the Island Eye News on Sullivan’s Island and Michelle Salater Writing and Editorial, LLC. It’s been a crazy ride so far, but after getting all my ducks in a row and setting solid goals for the future, I’m back on track with Sailor Gurl.
It’s a confusing time for many of us in our early 20’s since we have so many roads in front of us. The plethora of options is mind-boggling and it takes a lot of personal strength to keep your head above water, especially in this economy!
After lengthy consideration about my next step, I have set the solid goal of writing as much as possible, researching all the things that interest me, and incorporating these elements into my career as a writer, communicator, and marketer. I’ll fall into a niche at some point…right? Let’s hope!
I’ve also decided to take this blog to the next step, by incorporating wine entries–another one of my passions.
